Parenting
Conference Workshop
Dear
Pastor/Christian Education Director
Parents are facing a tremendous challenge as they try to raise Godly
children in our society. Busy lifestyles leave parents drained with
little reserves to nourish their children. While the constant pull of
the ungodly influences demand that children be prepared or sucked into
the downward spiral. There is a tremendous need for parents to be
encouraged, taught and held accountable to shape the destiny of precious
children that Almighty God has placed in their care. The church should
be a refuge where parents can be refueled and receive directions that
will help them accomplish their God given responsibility.
And we would like to help you accomplish that objective.
We
would like to come into your church for a one or two-day seminar called
“Train ‘em Right.” You can customize the seminar to fit your needs,
choosing from eight different workshops with the Family Celebration
Option. You can open
it to other parents in your community or limit it to your membership. We
want to help you impact families.
What will this seminar do for your parents?
·
Inspire them to be better parents.
Parenting is hard work. Biblical illustrations will inspire your parents
and renew their spiritual passion to be the parents God wants them to
be-not perfect, but good.
·
They will
learn new skills and reinforce existing
skills to make training a joy.
·
Depending on
the workshops you select they’ll learn how to
understand the different personalities, discipline ideas and ways to train
them according to God’s Word.
How is this seminar different?
The Passion. We love
children and parents. As both a parent and a children’s minister for
over 25 years we understand the needs of children and want to pass that
passion on to parents.
Strong Spiritual Focus.
While most seminars focus on only the mechanics,
this seminar will stir your parents to include their children as they
pursue God and develop strong biblical character.
Sessions to choose from.

Leadership
Leading Like Moses
Can you imagine influencing over a million
people to leave the only life they had ever know to tramp through a
dangerous desert? Now that is influence at its highest level. We'll take a
look at the biblical principals that enabled Moses to accomplish this
incredible task and how you can become a more effective leader using these
principals. This subject can be done by selecting a single one hour session
or it can be done as a Leadership Seminar with four-one hour sessions.
Titles include Building a Leader; Dreaming God's Dream; Follow the Leader
and Mentoring Your Joshua.
Dream God’s Dream

There is a drastic difference between dreaming
a dream and dreaming God's dream for your life. You'll see how Moses
discovered God's divine destiny for his life and how he fulfilled that
destiny.
Building a Leader
Leaders are not born. They are built. You'll
observe the building process that took place during those 40 years Moses
spent on the back side of the dessert that were vital to becoming a leader
God could use and understand how God can use even your failures to build a
leader out of you.
Follow the Leader
There is more to leadership than talent,
position or knowledge. Leadership is the ability to influence others. You'll
learn to increase your influence as you see vital leadership skills that God
taught Moses in the wilderness.
