little girl was sitting at her grandmother’s table coloring a picture
with magic markers. She chose her colors carefully and very meticulously
colored her picture. Her grandmother looked at the beautiful colors in the
picture and then commented to the child. Have you noticed the beautiful
colors in the plant on the table? The child looked up from her coloring.
The colors were beautiful. The shades and hues were varied, almost too
pretty to be real. The little girl picked up another color and continued,
“I guess God has magic markers too.” We
see God’s fingerprints in all of creation. The amazing variety of colors
is just one example of his glorious ability in creation. We serve an
awesome God. Take time to stop and enjoy the colors around you. It would be a bland world if there were only one color. Stop long enough to thank God for colors and variety in this universe. Being thankful for little things is child-like, but it’s also God-like! Click
