Commandments  to Obey

Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

od’s great love prompted the gift of the commandments. In His divine plan, He wants what is best for you. He knows more than we do. His laws are perfect. They are not suggestions. They are commands. Commands he expects and demands that we obey. How can you obey them if you don’t know them? In today’s lesson we’re going to study the scriptures where God gave His children the ten commandments orally. This was even before God wrote them on tablets of stone.
